Reception / Event Assistant

Overview

The Peace Centre is now hosting conferences, training events and seminars to local businesses and other voluntary sector organisations.

We are looking to recruit a pool of volunteers to help us manage and run the events smoothly.

Tasks may involve reception duties, serving refreshments, assisting with our catering team and setting up and clearing away the equipment.

Fundraising co–ordinator

Overview

If you would like to get involved in fundraising, whether it’s part of a team or running your own event for us, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for people to help us promote and organise various events, sell tickets and secure sponsorships and
prizes.

Adult sport volunteer

Overview

Volunteers are required to play a variety of roles. All volunteers are required to complete the Volunteer Application Process which includes the completion of an Enhanced DBS. Many sports leaders began as volunteers as have other adults including professionals, parents of participants and those who wish to make a contribution and promote positive activities for children.

Public Relations Executive

Overview

The Foundation is looking for an experienced marketer who could use their skills to help raise the Foundation’s profile nationally.

Using your skills to promote the Foundation’s successes through print media as well as supporting the development of the Foundation’s online media strategy. Experience in using social networking sites for fundraising would also be a benefit.

Youth Club Volunteer

Overview

Do you have some free time, would you like to learn new skills and support young people? Warrington Youth Club are seeking adult volunteers to work in a range of our services and groups with children and young people. 

We currently have eight services and projects based on different themes including sport, personal development, media and the arts. We work on a one to one basis with disabled children and young people.  Training and out of pocket expenses are provided.

Volunteer Administrator – from as little as 4 hours per week you could join our vibrant admin department assisting with planning, filing, communicating with young people, parents and carers, answering emails and helping with the smooth running of the club.

Volunteer Youth Worker – are you experienced in, or look for a work placement opportunity as part of your studies?  Do you want to experience youth work in an inspiring and challenging setting, working with up to 2000 children and young people every month, engaging them in educational and fun activities?

Volunteer Mini–bus Driver – do you have a driving licence?  do you enjoy driving?  We are always on the look–out for members of our community to help transport children and young people to and from the Youth Club.

Being a Buddy – this involves being a positive role model and offering support and guidance to a young person.
